Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Syden ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Use of the App
Syden is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or use it in any way that violates applicable law.
3. No Warranty
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose.
4. Changes to the App
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time, with or without notice.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Syden and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
6. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy.

Privacy Policy
1. Overview
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information Syden collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.
2. Information We Collect
Syden collects only the minimum information necessary to provide the service:
- Account identity: When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique Apple user identifier and, if you choose to share them, your name and email address. This is controlled entirely by Apple's Sign in with Apple system — you may choose to hide your email address using Apple's email relay.
- Packing data: All lists, trips, and items you create are stored locally on your device using your device's secure storage. This data is not transmitted to our servers.
We do not collect location data, browsing history, usage analytics, or any other personal information beyond what is described above.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your Apple identity (user ID, name, and email) is stored securely in Firebase Authentication solely to:
- Maintain your account and allow you to sign in across app reinstalls
- Respond to support requests if you contact us
We do not use your information for marketing, profiling, or any other purpose.
4. Firebase
We use Google Firebase for authentication services only. Firebase stores your account credentials using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Firebase does not have access to your packing lists or trip data. For more information, see Firebase's Privacy Policy.
5. Analytics and Tracking
Syden does not use any analytics, crash reporting, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies of any kind. We have no insight into how you use the App.
6. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties, except as required to provide the service (i.e., Firebase Authentication as described above) or as required by law.
7. Data Security
Your packing data never leaves your device. Your account identity is protected by Firebase's security infrastructure. We take reasonable technical measures to protect the information we hold, though no system is completely secure.
8. Children's Privacy
Syden is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@syden.app.
10. Account Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:
- In-app: Go to Settings → Delete Account. This removes your account from Firebase Authentication and all local data from your device immediately.
- By email: Send a deletion request to info@syden.app. We will process the request and confirm deletion within 30 days.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
